*** STOP PRESS*** Viva! and The Vegetarian and Vegan Foundation have published the latest magazines. For the Viva!Life recipe section I have come up with some "mock meat" recipes include a vegan 'Chicken' Ceasar Salad, a superquick Hoisin Wrap and a delicious Meatloaf. There's also a beautiful Chocolate Torte (recipe by Sue Daniels who won the Bute Island recipe competition). Highly recommended! Veggiehealth recipes include Grilled Avocados, Wild Mushroom Ragout, a Sweet Chilli Stir-fry bursting with flavour and spring zing and a very elegant Creamy Strawberry and Blueberry Whip.

The spacious new offices in the centre of the Jewellery Quarter were the venue for the official launch party on 31st May 2007. Birmingham's newly elected Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress as well as renowned Poet and Vegan Society Patron Benjamin Zephaniah were among the guest.
