Didsbury Dinners: The Low-Carbon Community Cookbook
Probably the best community cookbook I've ever seen. All proceeds from the sale of the book are still going towards promoting food sustainability in Didsbury – planting new community orchards and gardens; subsidising cookery classes for those most in need; working with local businesses; and other projects to create an atmosphere of local food sustainability.
"As well as 40 pages of recipes, the book explains why it is important to think about food sustainability and how one person really can make a difference. How to source food locally – from growing herbs on your window sill to signing up for a allotment, and from buying locally-grown foods to eating out sustainably, depending your level of motivation!"
An honour to be involved with the food photography for this fabulous project. Find out more about Didsbury Dinners here.
